Steven M. Gillon (born December 11,) is an American historian. He is the Scholar-in-Residence at The History Channel, Professor of History at the University of Oklahoma, and Senior Faculty Fellow at the Miller Center for the Study of the Presidency at the University of Virginia.

Gillon received his B.A. in History from Widener University where he graduated summa cum laude with honors in History.
