Sami Mnaymneh is an American business executive and founder and Co-CEO of H.I.G. Capital. The Forbes magazine ranked him the No. 451 richest man in the world, with a net worth of $4 billion.[1][2]
Education
Sami Mnaymneh earned a B.A.
Degree, Summa Cum Laude, from Columbia College where he graduated as valedictorian in the class of 1981.[3] He subsequently received a J.D. degree and an M.B.A.

Career
Prior to founding H.I.G., Sami served as a managing director with The Blackstone Group in New York[6].
Earlier in his career, he was a vice president in the Mergers and Acquisitions department at Morgan Stanley & Co., where he focused on leveraged buyouts and served as a senior advisor to a number of prominent private equity firms.[7]
